- I am writing this blog - because no one would talk. I was raped on holiday in Mauritius. I was encouraged to remain silent. Now that I am back home in South Africa, I will not shut up again. Through reading others' stories of rape on the internet, I began to understand the feelings I was having. I hope this blog will bring understanding & solace to those who need it.
